2010 Outlook will not open after MS Update Print

Users had complained this morning of Outlook disconnecting and crashing. Removing patch KB3097877 appears to have resolved the problem.

I renamed the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem to "Windows Messaging Subsystem OLD" (no need to do anything in HKLM in my case).
